LTFA is looking for a confident, independent and reliable football coach to work with players aged anywhere from 5-14 years old, helping them develop technical skills, game understanding, and a lifelong love of football in a positive and supportive environment. WHAT YOU WILL LOVE ABOUT US Develop players long-term – Help children improve their skills, confidence, and understanding of the game. Lead your own sessions – Deliver structured training using our proven session plans and coaching framework. Professional support – Access lesson plans, equipment, and ongoing coaching support. In addition to the casual hours, should you show promise, we can offer more hours of work on a more consistent basis. HOURLY SALARY Qualification and experience dependent $35 – $56 per hour (including superannuation) RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and deliver engaging football training sessions for players aged 5–14 Coach independently while maintaining LTFA coaching standards Foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined learning environment Support the technical, physical, and personal development of players Communicate professionally with parents and LTFA staff REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Must be 18+ Must have adequate experience to run sessions independently, being adaptable Valid Working With Children Check Reliable transportation Confident leading groups independently Strong communication and leadership skills Reliable, punctual, and professional PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Football coaching experience (academy, grassroots, or school programs) Playing experience in organized football Coaching qualifications (FA/AFC C Licence or working toward one) Experience working with children aged 5–18 PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The candidate must be able to: Run, demonstrate drills, and actively participate in training sessions Stand and move for extended periods with consistently high energy Set up and pack down equipment independently LOCATION Parkside Drive Reserve, Kogarah Bay NSW 2217 This is more than a job—it’s an opportunity to inspire young players, develop their skills, and be part of a professional and supportive coaching environment.
